Thank You For Stamps!

I started stamping over 13 years ago.  My mother was inspirational in the beginning of my ongoing habit.  As someone who suffers from Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, stomach and esophageal disease, lung disease, and kidney issues along with many, many complications due to the Lupus and RA, I find that having a hobby (or addiction) to papercrafting has brought a sense of peace and escape for me. I am very blessed to be able to sell my cards through my church's bookstore.  I also create card sets as gifts for loved ones.  Sometimes I just create just to create.  I love trying new techniques, especially the ones found on Papertrey Ink's Make It Monday series, or Gina K.'s Stamp TV.

I absolutely love Papertrey Ink and it's creative, amazing products, and rarely shop at my local Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or Joanns any longer.  Online is the way to go as far as quality, price, and selection.

I need to give credit to my incredible family.  I have been blessed with the world's greatest husband and two great girls.  All three accept my hobby and give me much more support than any Mom/wife deserves.  I cannot say enough about the love that holds us together.

Faith is also a huge part of my life.  Without my daily journey with God, I doubt I would be able to be able to do much around the house, much less craft.  I have been through 3 "strokes" which resulted from brain swelling due to Lupus, and included full right side paralysis.  I have had to relearn how to walk, talk, write, and move again 3 different times in the last 4 years.

This blog will include mostly crafting projects for all to see, but will also share some of my life experiences.  Thank you for checking in!
